Rainforest Jasper is the green form of Rhyolite that comes from Western Australia.
The Green Rhyolite is very different to the more yellow form of Rhyolite that comes from Mexico and the United States, although they often may be somewhat similar looking. It may be a combination of various colors, with the predominant colors being green, yellow, caramel, orangey-tan and brown.
Depending on the rock they came from, this stone contains a combination of quartz, feldspar and nepholite. It is common to see patches of quartz within the stones.
